Your Questions Answered
Sarting a placement or making a referral tcan bring lots of questions—and that’s completely normal. We believe in transparency and want you to feel fully informed and confident. Below you’ll find answers to the most common questions we receive from parents and professionals.
How are parents & children safeguarded?
We have support staff available on site, including the use of 24 hour audio and CCTV in communal areas. All staff are trained in safeguarding. This training enables them to raise concerns and escalate appropriately.
What meetings do I need to attend?
The accomodation settling in meeting will take place on the day of arrival. These meetings make sure the placement runs smoothly. Then there will be regular optional volountry support worker meetings.
Placement settling in meeting when it is held?
At the same time as the family settles in, we guarantee that everyone is free from worries.
How long is the placement for?
As long as required or needed if referred by a placing authority, we’ve observed a pattern. Parents coming straight from the hospital often find the first week to be a blur. To give them the best start, the first week focuses on practical tasks. These tasks include registering the baby. They also involve applying for benefits, signing up with the GP and Health Visitor, and shopping for food and essentials.
