Edenis provides a safe, supportive space to help build your skills and meet your family needs. Here’s everything you need to know about your arrival and what to expect during your stay.

ON ARRIVAL

When You Arrive

From the moment you arrive, you'll be shown to your room and introduced to the facility, where you'll meet with your support worker to ensure you feel comfortable and settled. Support is available for budgeting, cooking, and independence skills, and we provide fresh bedding and a welcome pack with essentials, just remember to bring towels and clothing for you and your baby. Equipment like cots and highchairs are also available, and for any questions, feel free to call or email for assistance before your placement.

What to Expect

From the moment you arrive, you’ll be involved right away. You’ll be shown your room and the house, and there will be a settle in meeting with you and your support worker to ensure your in agreement with the accomodation rules and support that is offered.

ON ARRIVAL

What to Bring

At Edenis, we provide new bedding and a welcome pack that includes basic toiletries such as shower gel, toothbrush and toothpaste, and laundry detergent. You'll also receive a food pack for the first two days and a baby welcome pack with nappies, a bath thermometer, changing mats, cotton wool, a baby bath towel, and a diary or notepad.

You'll Need to Bring:

Towels for you and your child/children
Clothing for you and your child/children

Don’t worry if you forget anything, we have spares available.
